Petwar is counted among the largest and most progressive villages
of the Narnaund region in Hansi district, Haryana. The name “Petwar”
is believed to be associated either with the geographical structure
of the area or with an ancient clan that originally settled here.
The village is also known for its strong political awareness and
active participation in public affairs.
