Kumbha is a traditional village of the Hansi
district, Haryana. The name of the village is believed to be
derived from ancient water structures or earthen pots
(“kumbh”), indicating the historical importance of water
conservation in the area.
At present, the village is led by its Sarpanch, Mr. Rakesh.
Under his leadership, focused efforts are being made to improve
irrigation facilities and promote cleanliness across the
village, ensuring sustainable development.
Socially, Kumbha has a disciplined and cooperative community
