Kulana is a prominent village located in the fertile plains
between Narnaund and Hansi district, Haryana. The name
of the village is believed to have originated from an ancient
“kul” (clan) or from a distinct geographical identity associated
with the area.
At present, the village is led by its Sarpanch, Mr. Rajesh Kumar.
Under his guidance, commendable work is being carried out for the
development of the government school and the community center,
strengthening educational and social infrastructure.
Socially, Kulana has a fair and transparent community structure.
The traditional chaupal culture remains very effective, where
important decisions related to village development are taken
after collective discussion. Agriculture is the mainstay of the
village economy.
The fertile land of Kulana is highly suitable for cotton and wheat
cultivation. Canal irrigation acts as a major advantage for
farmers, ensuring reliable crop production. Animal husbandry is
not just an occupation but a matter of pride, forming an integral
part of rural life. With its clean environment, peaceful
atmosphere, and strong sense of cooperation, Kulana truly
represents the beauty of traditional rural Haryana.
