History and Social–Agricultural Overview of Hajampur

Hajampur is a progressive village situated in the fertile plains between Narnaund and Hansi district, Haryana. The name of the village is believed to have originated from an ancient settlement or the residence of early communities in the region.

At present, the village is led by its Sarpanch, Mrs. Sushila Devi. As a woman leader, she places strong emphasis on women literacy, organization of health camps, and modernization of Anganwadi centers, contributing significantly to social welfare.

Socially, Hajampur has a calm and harmonious environment where people from different communities live together with mutual respect. Agriculture forms the backbone of the local economy.
