Bhaini Amirpur is a village in the Hansi region whose name itself reflects
a sense of historical prosperity. The word “Bhaini” is commonly used for
settlements located near a main route or close to a water source, while
the name “Amirpur” is believed to have originated during the Mughal period,
possibly after an “Amir” (a noble, officer, or influential person).
At present, the village is led by Sarpanch Mrs. Sunita. Under her leadership,
women in the village are moving towards self-reliance, and significant work
is being carried out to improve basic infrastructure, especially school
education and the condition of village streets.
Socially, Bhaini Amirpur has a fair, transparent, and well-balanced community
structure. The society is mainly dependent on agriculture and animal husbandry.
The soil of the village is highly fertile, with wheat being the major Rabi
crop and cotton (narma) dominating during the Kharif season. Farmers have
begun adopting scientific farming methods to improve productivity.
Animal husbandry here is not just a source of income but an integral part
of daily life. The Murrah breed of buffaloes found in the village is known
for high milk production. Traditional values are respected, and discussions
held at the village chaupals clearly reflect unity and mutual understanding.
The youth of Bhaini Amirpur show strong enthusiasm for joining services such
as the Indian Army and Delhi Police, often practicing at local playgrounds
within the village.
